Hi foodie friends,

With the Christmas season gearing into full speed, some of you might have started thinking about what you might be cooking for Christmas this year. Maybe you’re thinking of keeping it simple (that’s me) or going all out! You probably have a standard menu that you like to use as a base and have variations around it… Some of you will be celebrating under a blanket of snow, while some of us might well be sitting on the beach, gazing at the stars.

Either way, I would love it if you took a moment to jot down your Christmas ‘menu’ and allowed me to share it on the blog with out readers. It doesn’t need to be complicated or detailed, but it could be a great source of inspiration to try new things this season..

Mine might go something like this:

– fresh figs and goats cheese wrapped in prosciutto
– freshly shucked oysters with a vinegar and french shallot sauce
– sushi
– chicken and pistacchio terrine
– prawn and mango salad
– tropical style pavlova
– cheesecake
– a flute of bubbly

Let me know what yours might be like and if you can, join a selfie (hand held self-portrait usually taken on your phone…)

I look forward to your replies,

Sending love and cheer for the summer / winter ahead,
